Luck seems to be finally smiling at the Deol family, first they saw the wedding of Sunny Deol’s son Karan’s wedding with his childhood sweetheart Drisha Acharya. Which was followed by Dharmendra becoming the talk of the town thanks to his performance in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani especially the kiss with Shabana Azmi and now Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 taking a massive opening of 40 crores on a non-holiday date and the numbers going to be even stronger in the days to come.
After Rocky aur Rani one would think that Dharmendra would be taking it easy but the man has an amazing zeal and just loves to put his makeup on and be in front of the camera. The octogenarian would soon be seen in another film, he’s again playing a grandfather, but this time to Shahid Kapoor. The film also stars Kriti Sanon in the lead and it is directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Shah, it is still untitled.
When asked about the kiss with Shabana Azmi at the success meet of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, the veteran actor said “yeh toh mere baayen haath ka khel hai”.
