Pakistani human rights lawyer and daughter of a former minister, Imaan Mazari, was arrested. She was held for participating in a protest organised by the Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM), which criticises the military establishment. The FIR stated that Mazaari was arrested for unlawful gathering, resistance, and “interference in state affairs.” Meanwhile, her mother, PTI leader Shireen Mazari, claimed that “policewomen in plainclothes took my daughter away after breaking down our front door.” Watch this video to know more.
